Religious Education

Our Philosophy

The Religious Education program of St. Matthew Parish seeks to provide our children, youth, and adults with the knowledge, experiences, and skills necessary to become faithful and fruitful disciples of Jesus. In keeping with their age, they will assume responsibility as vital members of the parish and be able to participate in the Church’s mission to proclaim, celebrate, and serve for the reign of God.

Catechists - Religious Education Teachers 
Catechists are ministers of the Word who require sound orientation,preparation and dedication. Because of their love of their Catholic faith, these volunteers must be enthusiastic about sharing their faith.

Catechists - Substitutes
Volunteers are needed to support the regular Catechists during absences.
