Military Names Requested
IF YOU HAVE A FAMILY MEMBER IN THE MILITARY, OR KNOW SOMEONE IN THE MILITARY, PLEASE SEND THEIR NAMES AND PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT TO THE CHURCH OFFICE OR CALL ARLENE SMITH AT 371-1350. WE WOULD LIKE TO KEEP A LIST OF ALL MILITARY PERSONNEL POSTED ON THE BULLETIN BOARD OF THE CHURCH SO WE CAN KEEP THEM IN OUR PRAYERS.
Here are some recent thank you notes from the service men and women who have received our care packages.

Dear TMF,
On behalf of II MEF (fwd) G-4 MCCK, I would like to say thank you for all you have done for us! When we recieved all of the boxes for the Marines in our unit we were shocked! It took two trips to the post office to pick them all up! Each Marine had at least two boxes.
We wish we could have thanked you earlier but since we were in the middle of our surge we barely had enough time to even sleep. We are short handed here and needed to use all of our resources to the fulles.
The boxes were filled with great gifts and everyone was surprised. It was like christmas in the desert! Thank you again for your support you don't know how much it means to know that we are being thought of and prayed for. That is the best present of all.
Thank you again for you support!
Sincerely,
Cpl Steven M. Smith Assistant Camp Commandant II MEF (fwd) G-4 Camp Virginia Kuwait

Your 40 Boxes has arrived in Iraq! Thank you for the care packages on behalf of the soldiers. We will see that they get out to the front lines.

My son asked me to pass along a big "THANK YOU" for the girl scout cookies! He said it was nice to have a little piece of home every now and then. They were great and he had plenty to share with other members of his unit. I'm so proud to have a group like this in Tennessee!
